人が話しているときに、「すみませんが、・・・」と割り込むには大阪でも勇気がいるものです。
失礼なことではありますが、しかし、状況によっては必要な場合もあるので、いかに失礼でないように上手に割り込むかがポイントですね。
それは英語でも同じことです。
今回はiBEC Academyの外国人講師が、失礼でない言い回しやフレーズをお伝えします。

Interrupting politely can be difficult.
The situation the people and your position all have an influence on how you should interrupt.
Phrases for interrupting:
* Could I come in here?
* Excuse me…
* I’m sorry but…
* Do you mind if I say something?
* Actually I think…
* I just want to say…
* May I interrupt here?
Generally you should use more polite phrases when interrupting someone who is of higher level position than you or is a client or customer.
It’s also important to keep your intonation neutral or friendly so you do not seem like you are being argumentative.
Be prepared for replies that do not expect your interruption such as:
* That’s not the topic of our meeting today.
* We will get to that later.
* We don’t really have time to go into that right now.
* Please get with me later on and I’ll answer your question.
